2. What personal data is processed?

We process personal data that we receive in the course of our communication with you. This applies in particular to inquiries, messages, or other forms of contact via email, phone, Microsoft Teams, contact forms, mail, or other communication channels.

Depending on the request, relevant personal data includes, in particular:

  • Master Data such as name, job title, company, and similar information
  • Contact Information such as email address, phone number, and other contact information
  • Inquiry Data such as the reason for your inquiry, the content of your message, your preferred method of response, and any information relevant to your request
  • Communication Data such as correspondence, meeting notes, feedback, connection and metadata, as well as information from online communications
  • Additional Information such as any other data you voluntarily provide to us when communicating with us

If you purchase services or products from us or if we enter into a business relationship with you, additional purpose-specific personal data may be processed. We will inform you separately about such processing, as necessary.

3. For what purposes is your data processed, and on what legal basis?

We process your personal data to communicate with you, to respond to, process, handle, and document your inquiry, as well as to carry out pre-contractual measures or based on an existing contractual relationship.

Your data will be processed to the extent necessary to handle your request, to carry out precontractual measures, to fulfill contractual or legal obligations, or to protect our legitimate interests.

4. To whom is your data disclosed?

As part of our service delivery, the operation of our communication channels, IT services, infrastructure, and administrative processes, we work with external service providers. These providers are carefully selected, contractually bound, and required to comply with appropriate technical and organizational security measures.

Our order processors are primarily located in Switzerland or within the EU/EEA. Personal data is disclosed to other countries only if the legal requirements are met, in particular through an adequate level of data protection or appropriate safeguards.

Within A.Vogel AG, only authorized individuals and relevant departments have access to your personal data, to the extent necessary to perform their duties.

5. How long will your data be stored?

Your personal data will be processed and stored for as long as necessary to respond to, process, handle, and document your inquiry, as well as to comply with legal retention requirements.

Data that is no longer needed is deleted on a regular basis. For pure communication data, the maximum retention period is generally 12 months. If a business relationship exists or is established, or if the processing is based on a contractual basis, the retention period is determined by the contractual purposes and statutory retention requirements.

6. What are your rights?

You have the right to access your personal data stored by us, as well as to have it corrected, deleted, or its processing restricted. In addition, you may object to the processing, withdraw any consent you have given, and request the disclosure or transfer of your personal data.
